The poll should definately be on here. It's piss easy for anyone with admin privs to fuck with the poll results on phpBB, or anyone with access to the MySQL database.

heh, IRC chans aint hard to set up. nor are websites. why dont we just wait and see who gets picked as captain, whether they want to be it or not. and then let them sort that stuff out eh?

in the interest of fairness, it think its a good idea if bazzi sets us up the bomb.. uhm poll.

The easiest way to keep it fair imo, is not to have 1 leader, but to elect a panel say. The panel could have about 3 ppl on it and they could choose the team, this would stop 1 leader from picking all his friends/clan =)

each member of the panel should be from a different clan

maybe gim, but you'll need clear leader to pick a team of 5 for a match. i cant see how that would work with 3 cos that only leaves 2 places. and by the looks of it everyone is voting for strikers as captains :O

To be honest, I don't think any elected captain would be daft enough to vote for all his friends and clan mates. He'd be told to go fuck himself within days, by me.

fyi, i cannot fuck with the poll results as our forum is hosted by fragism. i do not have any access what so ever to the mysql database...

I really NEED to change "insert forum laout feature here". We sympathize, but it's not possible with the free forums. You do not have access to the forums actual code.
You DO get full control over all other aspects of your forum. Including moderation, assigning moderators, adding/changing/deleting forum categories and user administration.

as jr said, only me and him have admin privilages, no one else.

EDIT: the only ftp access i get is to my website. i dont get any access to the forum itself. i spoke with chrisfu about this and he said it was safe

The panel idea may have not been the best suggestion =) but it could work if its done right. If a coach has to be elected, please dont let it be some clanless noob that no one has heard of, as this will just ruin the chances of the UK team =/. Most of the top UK players will only play for someone they know they can trust is reliable, and wont screw things up

Is there a short list from ppl to choose from??? maybe worth looking at some of the clan leaders, as we know that they are currently doing the job, and arent likley to screw things up =/
