Will I need to look at previous levels to solve this? I've found something which doesn't look like it's an actual clue to this level, but maybe a hint that such a clue can exist.

No previous levels are necessary.

You can message me. I just solved this level two days ago. I don't know what the rules are about spoiling stuff in private messages though, so I'll try to give you some hints first.

I'm stuck here Found two numbers. Don't know what to do.

Is the level number itself (74) involved in any maths? It leads to a compelling result, but then it doesn't seem to go anywhere. Is this just a coincidence?

EDIT: Yep, just a coincidence. A beastly red herring in a level already fraught with ambiguity.
