Anyway, nice @ rock goalevent =D really like it..just that, it falls out of no-where? =( As an earlier screenie (http://forums.gameservers.net/attachmen ... stid=80473) suggested, it would fall off the stereotypical pointy rock thingy..but is it just me or has it dissapeared? :'(

GG on the map, I really like the effects @ goalevent (also besides the rock, which just..rocks! *cough*cheesy*cough*but true) and I hope it will be finished soon so i can play it online :D

I took out the rock formation 'cause it didn't work quite right.

Also with the falling rock, movers don't seem to like redevent or blueevent only red/blueevent1, so atm the only fix i have is for the rock to slam for 1 second :'

I have come across away of 'hacking' cell shaded textures (actual ones like XIII) here is my attempt at my custom skin. It only works if texture detail is set to low. If it's in highest the skin goes all black, but i thought it'd be a great addition to the map

i've been applying the 'cell shaded' effect to some of the interactive stuff...

Image<--new bomb

and the rock need some work, but i'll add the effect to the rocket as well :D

BlueEvent/RedEvent seem to only work for turning on/off emitters. They don't reset anything including emitters.

The rock is a cool effect and I think it would still be ok if it only sat on the ground for a sec.

I think if you want the effect to look even better - Have the rock sitting on a volcano in the background. Goal = volcano blows - rock gets blown off the volcano, up out of site and then lands just as you have already set up. You might have to shorten the fall time a little to stay within the short reset time.

Not sure if I like that cell shader effect. I liked the effects as they were - compared to the picture.

Yeah I agree, it looked better without that thick cell shaded look.

BETA 5

TBH i did find the cell shaded rock a bit too much over the top, so i returned it back to normal.

Changes

1) Spec cameras fixed
2) Center Starts Re-added
3) New Goal posts
4) Fixed rock smoke to work online
5) Shortened Rock Stayopen time (due to short server reset)
6) New Bomb textures (now the external textures and static mesh's from beta 4 aren't needed)

To be done

1) Some events need setting to normal detail
2) Fix spectators flying through goal
3) Find away to keep the boulder open longer depending on the restart after goal time
4) Iron out any more bugs that come along :x
