the browser is set to disable the page colours, so when i switch to the light scheme, i get a bright background with dark text.
only thing it doesnt change is the irc theme (will try to sort that if i can be bothered

and owns ur monitor too.. the higher the Hz the sooner ur monitor dies.. but the less u get headaches
1600x1200x75 or 85 is probably ur best bang for value

I've often heard (mostly from plær though ;p) that 60hz actually looks best on TFT
Not sure myself though.

60Hz is PLENTY in a TFT, you won't notice the difference, don't know if it's actually better though.
EDIT: 60 Hz on a TFT looks like 85Hz on a normal monitor.
