Pickup enhancer

If you give the "wrong" values to players, then of course it could be worse than the randomiser.
It certainly sounds like you don't play enough pickups to know how everyone plays.
Anyway, I don't really care, I won't be playing in your pickups... but I don't like this attitude that you would have any way of fairly rating players. I don't believe that anyone could.

...u get my point...most games end up with a sweeper, 2 mids and a striker

Thats why NA actually calls the positions Offence, Midfield and Defence. We have found that the boosting dosen't happen fast enough if there is 3 offence.
One person is basically dedicated to "mildy hang back" on an attack, but pushes up during a rush. This person is the first person to be boosted back, they have the priority. Mid fielders are good all round players. Their strong on D, and can score, but their strengths are in setting up scoring plays with good passes, being open to accepts passes when their team recovers the ball in their end or grabbing interceptions, they boost the Offense into position. Basically they are the "setup" man and have great field sense.
imo you should attack with 3 players, just boost the one back who's in fron of you and don't search for the one who was def/mid or something, that would take too much time.
Now you guys could respond on this with: hey I think you SHOULD look for the one who's def/mid because he has more def quality. well 1st: takes too much time, 2nd: learn how to def, 3rd: my idea would work in a clanmatch.
It would also work in a pickup, but as I said: change it to 2 keeps - 2 sweepers - 6 attackers then. (Because this issue will be history then
)
and really, imo this boosting doesnt take too much time and you mostly really need 3 attackers to create a good chance to score, so you cant leave 2 guys behind.

"now heard of double boost yet?" to DavidM, yes and I can and do do it, but from the Euro pugs I have played it dosen't happen at all. There are 2 kinds of double boosts. The first kind is when 2 players are behind you and you get 2 boosts from 2 players at the same time. The 2nd kind of double boost is when your boosted, fly across the field and then another player boosts you again on your last or 2nd last jump.
Dosen't take any time at all. If your in a clan and/or play pugs regularly you should have the field sense to know where are all your players are, or where they should be. Plus you should be using your radars. You only have to monitor 3 other players (the keeper is in the net) and its not that difficult. It's just like boosting off the start, you have to know your other players or you'll end up boosting your Defence(sweeper) up the field.
I agree with you that it takes 3 people to create a good scoring chance, thats why I included that in my first post.
