im sorry for being quick to read all this (going out in a moment) but is there a way the game can use recieved stats to average out a value, and when you enter a game the players values are all added and worked out as a team value, so if you do really well with stats your average mark would be 4, and vie versa?
sorry if its been said about but that would save you updating all the time. no idea how you would do it.
last thing, is it possible to encrypt the ini? for stat keep.

Nice thought @ DavidM, but 1 flaw.....all the time after 1 successfull pickup, the admin starts another, and 90% of the last pickup adds again....but then according to the calcs of stats n stuff, ud get the exact same teams >.<
seems a bit boring doesnt it?
Also, if u rate a couple of dudes wrong, the pickups wouldnt be 80% screwed, but have a chance of being 100% screwed, making it worse instead of better.
Voting sucks also tho, take DavidM for one, every1 would vote 0 on him

hi, i'd just like to say good idea, but...
if all calculations are possible, if all players are rated 1-5 (or even 1-10) sometimes couldnt the teams end up:
4-4-5-4-1 vs 3-2-4-3-4
this kind of sucks because the "better" team has the handicap of a rookie player, but will probably win because of this ranking system.
DB's a pretty team-heavy game and even 1 bad player can bring the entire team down. Manual picking is probably the best way to go.
