anyway, it's still the most original mod we saw for 2k3, one of the only that have a CB ladder, with a nice gameplay, and teamplay

1.8 was nearly perfect imo, still2:3 things to fix/remove, but i still play more DB than anything else :p

just for that, i could be able to hug DavidM

(pliz don't say it ^^)

Deathball is 1337 because it is easy to learn, but hard to master.

(P.S> It would still be better if dribbling was back in)

I have wasted hours of my life playing Sensible Soccer and Championship Manager. Although DB is not football, it is certainly comparible so I waste hours of my life playing DB too. Anything that makes the beautiful game engrossing and addictive will always be of interest to me, and so I hail DB! As f1end says it's easy to pick up, but hard to master - what all great games are like.

I love the game itself, but i think i've grown attached to the small community it has, knowing that 80% of the time when i join a server there are players on it that i've been playing with for quite some time. we all share laughs and they all call me noob, next thing you know we're naked in the locker rooom and...

i love db mostly because its a good team based game. you need a good team to beat good teams and not luck..90% of the time \io/

Another thing that makes DB so unique and popular is that it's the first game of it's kind. How many sports games before DB were ever first person?

well that makes two, but realistically, that one won't get played as much as DB for one main reason.

Half-life is old now, and on it's way out. Mainly because of the upcoming title Half-life 2.
