Guys, it took a couple of days, but I figured the answer out. The hints here are very helpful, including the one that says thinking Rubik's cube doesn't help lol. Good luck, a fun one!

Replaying this one was fun.

Just a recommendation to people on this level: Try playing it by either printing the image on paper or getting a piece of paper and tracing the image (while marking the colors of each square) and then doing something to the paper.

It's a lot more fun and rewarding in the end than getting it using just your computer, took an hour to do even though I remembered what it was. Also ignore Rubiks Cube it doesn't help lol.
