Edit: solved, but only because of guidance from other member(s). To be honest, I think it's kind of cruel that in order to solve this level you need to visit a webpage that you can't find a link for anywhere in notpron. You can't even find it unless you google the right thing (the keyword you need has been posted already in a previous comment).

There is no need to Google for this level, perhaps you had better explain in a PM.

So... I've managed to get to this point mainly by myself and occasionally reading the hints in the forum. But I am feeling very foolish right now. Also, I found a LOT of stuff and I am wondering if it is for this level, another level, or just a red herring.

I left notpron a few years ago because of this level.
I came back 2 months ago, in that time I accumulated 34 photos of DavidM on my pc, I learned about the wayback machine website(and, honestly, the first design of http://david-m.org was much cooler), and all I have to say is:
Sometimes you're just not on the right site. Don't do like me, don't leave notpron, give some credit to this site
