Holy shit, this was one of the hardest levels in quite a while, so happy I finally figured it out!

I'm not very good at the blocky things and visual puzzles in this riddle I've noticed.

Thanks amh, I got it. Please delete this if it's too much info, but Rubik's cube is a terrible hint. That threw me off more than anything. Think one direction, not two.

Once again, sitting on the puzzle for a whole day when I was doing the right thing and the answer was just a step away.
