after playing the map db-greenbaize i came up with a rather amusing mod based on that map, however i am absolutely crap at modding. teh basic idea is you have a snooker/pool table with one white ball adn how ever many red and orange balls (7 of each?) . the players run about 'punching' teh white ball into all of teh other balls, (which are unmovable by players, only the white can move them) the idea is for one team to pot all of its balls, much liek pool is! if any one thinks this mod wuld be good/interesting i would be delighted if someone could make it, especially as i am poor at modding!
i did realise i wouldnt be tought how to - and i knwo how to make sounds, textures adn skins etc, just not code for new items adn things like that etc!
Making a mod like that raises to many questions, in pool/snooker u take turns for a start. How would it work if it was like DB style, one team waits for the other?
I would imagine it would have to be a 1v1 type thing for it to make sense. The balls would also have to be smaller \o
At least this thread has reminded me of pool anyways =) (Lunch time here > off to pub )
