Linux 1.8 setup aint working

Post by cybermans »

i run the .sh file (and yes i have chmodded)
but i get this error

meanmachine ut2003 # ./deathball.sh
Changing directory to ./
=======================================
ucc.exe: UnrealOS execution environment
Copyright 2001 Epic Games Inc
=======================================

Commandlet entry_deathball.ut2 not found

i have tried to start the game but there is no deathball anywhere.
any idea how to fix?

Yes we do have. This problem hasn't been reported yet. I'll dig into it, though.

Sry.. this may be my fault for not testing the script before I sent it to Bazzi.

Could you check a few things.. I noticed that the zip contained a number of folders in lowercase, so make sure you manually copy all the files from maps, textures, sounds, staticmeshes,systems,... etc. into the correct folder in your ut2k3 installation folder.

Once you got all the files in the right place, try just running ucc. And if that works, change the line in deathball.sh, and take out the 'entry_deathball.ut2' part of the lin that starts with ./ucc .

So it just reads

./ucc -USERLOGO=dbsplash.bmp -INI=DeathBall.ini -USERINI=User.ini --nohomedir

chmod +r ut2003 -R so all the files are no readable by every user

No Radeon 9800 pro, beats the Powercolor Radeon 9800 pro, go look for the test results yourself ;), and the 256mb version is a bit slower on the memory for some reason i forgot. (Clocked up to minimize some delay, too much memory for most games to use)

Btw. i have a Powercolor Radeon 9800 pro :D
