i'd like to see the serve sped up alot.
everything else faster too. ^^

nah its a good speed now. you can score with good shots and rallies can go rather long in some cases. serve speed is good too.

but you can reach practically any shot which is silly.

hmmmmmm, i think that also after bounce it's so easy to return serve so that the receiver will get advantage playing at net for first.
I agree with the one, a little more speed would be nice because only powerful smashs can make balls unreachable for the enemy.

I wouldn't mind seeing better drop shots.

Right now all I can do is tap right-click, and that works OK if it makes it over but there's no back-spin =(

Faster serves...(like mine used to be when i actually played tennis)...top-spin and slice on the mousewheel, like curve for deathball...and these piccies as textures...

i think you should reduce the radius around the player that can hit the ball from. Its alright in deathball, but in tennis its ridiculous

i disagree, a tennis player has a lot of reach...
maybe 1.2-1.4m from CoM to wrist, and 0.8m for racket?. so 2.0-2.2m radius. (very rough guesses)

lol at large potato, the one in tennis is smaller than the one in db. We used the db one at first and it reached half way across the court.

to be honest im happy with the values now, rallys go on until someone attempts what id call an offensive shot, which leaves them open to a winning return.

i do agree that sometimes the reciever gets the advantage, the reason for this is that the serv doesnt push them back as far as it should because they can hit it before it bounces, unlike real tennis.

when auto serv gets added prephaps this will be added too, because at the moment if a newb cant serv at all and joins your server at least you can hit his out servs back.

tbh...i haven't played tennis for a while....(not since b4 db 1.7 was released)...but I think serves should be an advantage, as they are in real tennis (except it's not really "real tennis", it's "lawn tennis", "real tennis" is played inside).

And...what about my textures...
