It is not a cure against everything, it will stop you from dying from poisons, venoms, and certain other things. And yes an ancient book of magic.

*points at the house* The spider - a giant spider! It poisoned her - and bit a piece - I mean, really, a big piece out of her, as if she was a sandwich! Herby bandaged her, but there was still this poison - and she - and she - died - few days - after that - I - saw her - dying -
