textures are the only thing bound to powers of 2, everything else can be weird numbers.

ah i see, textures fit better in power 2 things

hmmmmmmmm, interesting

PS: Im with psychofant............cube maps = boring! (but a lot of them seem to become the most popular :confused: )

using weird numbers for brushes is damn bsp unhealthy
just stay on the grid then it's fine

so not necessarily powers of 2
but go in 128, 64, 32 or 16 unit steps

I'd drop that one and try something new
the gameplay in this map has no potential imo

no thats what i ment is combinations of poweres of 2...

Technically 3000 works because ANY EVEN NUMBER is scalable to 2.

u played it? so far most of the people have told me they liked it a lot better after playing it, than looking at the screenshots (and apart from that, nobody wants more basic cube maps)

and i've started (and almost finished) a new map also.........and ummmmmm it's the weirdest map ever! Totally different gameplay and evreything.......u have to see it to understand it (we played an 8 player match on it and it actually went pretty well)
