Good result for England there. I saw the last 20 mins or so, T&T fans were going mad, 0-0 draw made them over the moon!

Unlucky Ivory Coast. Well, not really. Argentina just had better finishing. Both teams looked good.

Ivory coast's offense looked good, they weren't very good on defense, they shouldn't have let the second goal happen.

yeah, was a very entertaining game !

Argentina look really powerful in my opinion, they play very fast and very effective football

and Ivory Coast can do it and get to the next round ! i'm sure

Hmm, actually i didnt find both argentina or ivory coast to be quality teams, but you know me, i like to differ :P

ill be waiting for the game between Serbia and Netherlands to judge the chances of Ivory Coast of going through.

As for now, i think that Argentina and Netherlands are clear favourites.

Ivory Coast has good players but didnt seem to work well as a team, specially on the defensive aspect, IMO.

EDIT:

On a side note it's extremely funny that Portugal is facing Angola in Cologne (in Portuguese: Colónia, which also means colony)

It's just one of those priceless little things.

\o/ I have only just got back home ! So first chance I have had to say \o/

It was a poor game though, yeah we won in the end but everyone was a bit disappointed :P

I have only caught bits of the other matches since then but so far seem everyone is still "warming up" :)

after watching today's game between Netherlands and Serbia i can only say that it's a shame 2 of these 4 teams will have to go home with nothing ..

and i think Ivory Coast are capable of beating the dutchs

and fuck Mexico

mexico played a good game, iran just self distructed at the end of the game. I am quite psyched for the U.S. VS Czech Republic game tomorrow, I actually mixed around my classes so I could get home for the 11:55 start time!

does canada even have a team that's playing?
haha, i have no idea.
if they could move the ball with a hockey stick they'd have a better shot anyway.
I just watch the below the waist action anyway.
