There are many small riddles going around,
not online riddles, but the sort of riddles you ask your friends to challange them.
so i'd like to give it a try in here -
for example:
RIDDLE #1
<-- there are three lamps in a closed room,
and three switches that controls them - outside of the room.
how can you tell which switch belongs to which lamp -
by entering the room *only once* after doing whatever you wish with the switches.
(you cant look into the room until your done with the switches.)-->

Small Riddles

another popular one:
RIDDLE #2 -
<-- you have 10 sacks containing 1000 coins each.
each coin weights exactly 10g,
except for one sack, that the coins in it weights 9g each.
by using an accurate digital scale,
and weighting only once,
how can you tell which sack has the "fake" coins (9g).
u may take coins out of the sacks if u wish. -->

Yeah ... I still have some PMs in my message tracking from 2004 that where never read ... though these people were online AFTER I sent those PMs ...

RIDDLE #3 -
<-- there is a tribe of indians out- there somewhere.
one day the big chief gathers all the man of the tribe and makes a statment:
"dudes - there are wives on our tribe that are cheating their husband!" (its a fact)
so they talk, and finally decide the following:
from now on, all the men in our tribe will close themselves together with their wife in their tent, and will not come out until they figure out wether the wife is cheating on him or not.
if he finds out that his wife is a cheater, he will shoot her at exactly 6:00 PM at that day!
no-one comes out of the tent until they find out the truth!
first day, 6:00 PM .... silence
second day, 6:00 PM .... silence
third day, still, silence.
during the fourth day, shots were heard in the camp!
how many shots?
- there ARE cheating wives
- each husband knows of all the cheating wives, except his own
- no-one speaks to no-one outside the tents. no-one comes out.
(meaning, its not a smartass riddle)
- the men in that tribe are as smart as you are.
- the amout of people in the tribe is not relevant.
- nor the appointed time of the shooting.
- they only shoot once at each wife... they are not as cruel as u'd think, you sick person!
