Oh for the days of 123/4, when servers were full and players could shoot. Maybe we'll get back there sometime.

Ok, we just finished a mix in 2.4 - 14 to 11 was the final score

those who think keeping is hard, its because your team mechanics need to change now, 2-2-1 seems to work pretty well. you need more defense to handle such a big net so the keep can play the angle, as its rather hard to stay deep in your box and make a save.

my save percent was 28/11 and i'm a pretty bad keep. I really noticed as keeper I have the ability to magnet most saves. as it was alot better to go right at the shooter instead of doding for a save cuz taking away all his angle and vacuuming the ball was pretty auto win.

other keep had like 21/14 i beleive. not to bad either. its not like every shot was a goal or anything like some ppl seem to think.

if the net got 25% smaller it would decrease the ammout of goals but not make it impossible to score, imo.

more mixes are starting on this, will hve more feedback.

i specced a NA pickup, looks like the NA keepers are not as good yet as the euro ones....we had no 50+ meter shots going in :P
well give it 2-3 days and that'll be fixed and you get sane results like 6:4


the full changes list will be put up when we release 2.4, dont worry

hehe, judging NA keepers on a "pickup" is hardly a fair comparison. I wouldn't be surprised if NA keepers were better than euros, but we have no real way of knowing right now.

I'm excited about the amount of teamplay this version seems to require. I hope thats how it works out.

He must have watched me, Inphidel and drags and none of us is a real keeper :lol:
Again keepers just need some time to get used to 2.4 but I still may suggest to reduce the size of the net just a lil bit.

atm there are no 'real keepers'.
People will have to learn all over again I guess. Though the ones that have proven they have the reflexes and the ability to anticipate enemy attackers in the past will still probably be good at keeping in 2.4 eventually.

It's just a new style :)
