Fine, fine, I'll have a look at what I can do, but I don't think 2.4's in as good a state as you seem to think it is - it's not just an evening's coding job from the version I played. Also I only have so much time available with which to code. It won't be pretty but it might invigorate the community \o/. I'll have a look at what I can do.

There you go Imo =)

Nice to read that Cat's doing more for the community; not that putting in ut2k4 skins didn't help because it really did.

Take your time.. I'm not in any rush. I'd much rather have a quality version than a sloppy "quick-job" version.

Of course pretty much all of the custom maps will be useless now. Guess that's unavoidable.

I've longed for a time when positioning was a more important part of play (both for the outfield and keepers). Seems like that time is nigh. :D

Will radii grow at all? I.E. start small when ball first released then scale up to max.

I guess the lower boost power will mean attackers won't be able to boost defenders as far away. This will obviously affect how long they can charge a shot.

Will pzone size be changed at all?

As you say, a lot of tweaking may be needed but it seems like a definite stride in the right direction. Interesting times ahead.

yes, custom maps will be shit now (if they arent already :P)

radii for field players still grow. keeper has a big radius immediately now

only friendly boost will be reduced
when being boost by an enemy, you have only one multijump left (not 3 as before)

pbox stays. thats the point of all....

im sure that if the original authors dont fix the maps but give permission there will be one or two people willing to resize bsp and resize/replace goal static meshes :o

Read the news about 2.4, very good news imho. David can you be more precise concerning goalsizes. UED units? Think this would be helpfull for all appers.
