This one is quite easy  it took me all ove five seconds to get it :D

I recently bought a 10-volume set of encyclopedias.

8,5,4,9,1,7,6,3,2

At present I have only arranged the first 9 volumes in order on my shelf as shown above.
Using my system where should volume 10 go?

One more before I go :)

The numbers 3,7,8,40,50 and 60 have one property in common which is NOT possessed by any other WHOLE number. What is that property?

I assume that's why manhole covers are round?

Actually, it is impossible to draw a perfect circle, thus squares are the more likely candidate.

edit: I've thought this through, and it seems that shapeless splodges are easier to draw. But, manhole covers should have straight sides as straight sides are easier to cut. Other than that, they can be any shape.

edit2: I have it! I know why manhole covers are round! It is simple. Holes are round when you dig them. Thus, manhole covers need to fit these holes so they are round.

What relation do the words 'nineteen ninety eight' have to the number 666, other than 666 x 3 = 1998?
