Durrrhhh...... Okay, the imbecile husband forgot that while he was gone, it would get hotter than H*** inside the car..... the stranger came by and found the wife dying of heat stroke, and with her very last strength she unlocked the door........ The stranger did what he could but he was too slow........ and when the husband got back, the stranger stayed around to explain.

I'm stumped. If the text had said "he made sure nobody else was in the car", it could have meant that the wife had a bun in the oven
