It was indeed taken on DB-IceDemon, I didn't notice my FPS dropping but I suppose it's possible for slower systems. You can bring up the awards/statistics screen by pressing F3 while ingame.
what about taking the best goodpasses/intercepted passes ratio for playmaker. or an award for many (not most , but min. 5 or something) passes over long distances. perhaps as a special popup @ the end of a game, so that everybody knows who is topscorer/playmaker/best keeper so on....
I am a stats whore and love the sound of all this...That's what hours of playing Championship Manager does to you...
One thing I noticed with the 1.7 beta is how harsh the bad passes are...If you volley the ball and it falls to an opponent, it's a bad pass, if you try to set up a volley off the wall and a defender volleys it away, it's a bad pass, hell if a keeper saves a shot it's a bad pass. Perhaps bad passes should only count if you use the right mouse button and actually try and pass the ball? I always end up with a poor good pass to bad pass ratio because of this...
well no, a good player can make a pass out of a volley interception
but you are right:
-when the keeper catches or volleys my ball
-when the keeper kills me while i have the ball
-> add one point to "wasted chance" (new point)
