DB 1.7 as UMOD

Post by gmB »

I don't like the external installer of 1.6 that creates startmenu entries, places un/install executable files in the ut2003 folder etc...
Is it possible that v1.7 is also released with a UMOD installer ?
This would be great.

thx

as long as its zipped with paths i dont mind it as zip. Having to manually move the files into the directories like in earlier versions of DB was really annoying tho :p

i guess we'll have it as exe and zip (with pathese) again

umod causes too much trouble, cause most people dont know how to use it and maybe don't have it configured....

I really don't care either way. Both work fine for me
I do like ut2mod because it can easily be removed under 2k3 in the add/remove programs
