Hi there,
i've got some big trouble with utsecure which i need for my tdm games...
As i downloaded the latest UT2k3 patch and the new UTSecure i was unable to join normal non-mod-ut2k3 servers (dm,tdm, ctf etc) cause i had an uknown dat named "Deathball.u" in my System directory ( )
Did anybody other out there have this problem?
Now i cant play non-mod games so i had to install 2k3 twice which sux btw.
You got any solutions or sth?

well... two solutions.... both of which are the same solution really...
Either read the FAQ on the deathball page...
or read what I copy and pasted here.
-I'm getting an deathball.u and .int error any time Itry to join another gametype after playing Deathball.
This is part of Epic's cheat protection...which obviously doesn't work right. So you have to restart UT2k3 to make it work. Or try to enter "obj garbage" into the console (^) which might help as well.

i use different binds/name/etc for DB and regular... so i use 2 shortcuts to start up ut... either DB mode or not... if you do it this way you can leave the deathball mod files out of the ut2003.ini
this is usefull for me, and i've never had that problem... though becuase i've never had the problem i dont know if it fixes it. make sure if you do this you remove the deathball entries from your regular ini file.
C:\<path>\UT2003.exe -mainmenu=deathball.db_mainmenu -userini=user-db.ini -ini=ut2003-db.ini
C:\<path>\UT2003.exe -userini=user-reg.ini -ini=ut2003-reg.ini
