yeah i agree with that also the radar needs to be done so i can put it in a mappack for the Australian server here...make sure the goalposts are done in the vicinity radar....

AND atm both teams can run the ball in their own goal... obviously it hasn't been finished yet but those things NEED to be done...

Sorry, but that's the way it's staying! ;)
I like chasing people round the table and nudging them off the edge...

Never seen the need for blocking yourself from running into your own goal. If the keeper's that bad then why is he the keeper?

The radar is the next bit I'm working on... :D

Radar is now working.

Yes it's meant to be like that & No it doesn't look better the normal way... :p

By the way, I can't get the goal posts to show up on the vicinity radar. Ued won't let me place the relevant actors!

yeah its still handy but its good to not have it as well because me, being a volleywhore, sometimes has enemies catching the rebound and preventing me to volley..... this way instead of hammering them into the goal mouth and have it being turned over, I can now volley people into the goal.....

Therefore, DavidM or any other mapper for that matter, can you only make the blocking volume for the keeper?

yeah, i think you should put one in keeper only. i hated it in the bad old days when i was keeping on the line and it was always an own goal. its too hard to be thinking about whether you are on the line or not when you are trying to save shots.

i will look into this.

edit: someone correct me if im wrong, but it seems that blocking volumes are native in the code. i think the only way in which it could be done would be so there is a different keeper class for the keepers, and that is up to the db team. thinking about it, i dont think it really matters if the entire team cant run into their own goal. its not like a defender usually stands on the line while there is another keeper.

I know!
Wasn't going to put them in until the map's done, in case I add more detail to the room.

Added the preview pics & finished the description.
Tweaked a few player start orientations.

me and another guy noticed in DB-JE-Back2Back, that the keeper is only keeper while in the keeper zone and that was only checked on the blue side of things still need to verify that for red half anyway...it needs fixing....but after the book is finished...

It must be the order in which the Penalty Zones and Keeper Zones were put in or possibly last edited.
I tweaked the sizes of all the zones quite a bit once the level was done so it's possible it's not in the correct order. By that I mean that the first zone put in should be the Team half, then the Penalty and finaly the Keepers box. I've noticed in the past that if they aren't ordered like this then they don't work correctly. It may be that on the blue side the order has ended up as Penalty, Team & Keeper which would basically mean there is no Penalty zone!
That will probably only make sense to other mappers... ;)

Will have a look at it soon & I'll put in the Blocking volumes in the goal today too. :p
