i have to say im genuinely excited about this new feature. i suspect it will take a lot of tweaking to get the 'feel' right.
did you say you were planning a beta or a release/fix setup?
also, any chance of making the balls different colours?

Agreed. Multiball might be a laugh, but I doubt it'll have any long term appeal...

As I said, 5 balls will be a laugh, but I think 2 balls should be a serious new way to play, that requires completely new thingking.

if a normal (1 ball match) is tied by full time - mulltiball might be a good way to spice things up in overtime

A tied game shows its an even pair of teams, and to go and unbalance the overtime with more than one ball would suck ^^

yeah people may start to get lazy
since the ball is the focal point of the game, having mulitple balls may cause confusion as to which way to boost etc.
i think this mode will be best in short bursts. A whole game like this wouldnt be fun.
increased cherry picking is highly likely too ^^

As for multi-ball overtime, im not sure that'd be any good - unless you had 1 for each team... which still wouldnt be that good.
And more balls = less passes, if people get used to it it'll be an ego-filled game for life....... private/gimmicky use maybe, unless its soooo gooooood... but not 'official' league matches..
