My specs are: P4 3.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, 2 x 200GB SATA drives, 1000BaseT NIC.

Fedora Core 2, Ext 3, UT2004 3270.

3 DB UT2K4 Servers:

1 x 3v3 VO (4 specs) - port 7777
1 x 12 player public (4 specs) - port 7877
1 x 10 player (i think) private server - port 10000

Hardware hasn't changed since I've been running the servers.

Bedlam, I guess I should ask this question. Are you seeing slow map changes on any of the UT2004 DB servers? :)

Nothing reported, but I don't play DB anymore :ban: on the other hand if they are using 99% of a CPU its not affecting the ET or CoD servers in anyway. But there has been some network problems making the ET/CoD drop connections ever 20 seconds or so, but that happens even when the UT2004 servers are offline and lasts for a day before returning to normal)

Urm its a dual 2.8 xeon, with 2 gig-o-ram

I've not noticed any 99%cpu load on map changes. Its not swapping out is it?

^^ bump

I'm having the same problem :/

10/12 player server sometimes hangs on map changes with 99% cpu. Did somebody already find a solution for this?

Turn off all replays. Fixes both Windows servers and Linux.

For some reason I don't get it anymore with or without replays. Strange.

At end of game too? What's your server running?

At end of game it just goes to 100% CPU (does not happen that much, but has happened at least once since I turned off replays). All replays are off afaik (end replay is off, and that other replay thing is at 0).

Server is Dual AMD Opteron 244, running UT2k4 3323 + latest DB (2.2 i believe) on Windows 2k3 server.
