if you know what goal you are defending you are beter than dis was ;) :-p and dk wins

14-4 isn't really that bad a score, I have seen much worse

Thanks for the encouragement. I honestly felt like our team had a problem getting back on defense. It always seemed to be the goalie and me versus 2-4 of their guys, and because I was new, I wasn't sure exactly who to cover.

I seemed to be torn between taking away the passing lane or taking away the shot. If I was in the passing lane, then he normally had a pretty decent shot. If I was playing the shot, he had a wide open pass to an open player for a volley.

I had to work 14.5 hours yesterday so I didn't have time to try another pickup game. I'll probably try to get in one tonight.

as a general rule.. ask the keeper who they want you to block...

with time ull be able to block the shot AND the passing lane.. but it's risky.. cuz if u dont do it well.. u open both up.

most keepers liek it when u cover the free guys.. and let the keeper concentrate on the ball.
