the bugs are there cuz 90% of the community literally couldnt be arsed to beta test. and they wont go if the same dont help again this time.
Yea, the BuD beta server hardly got used. It's much easier to find bugs when enough people play to have some worth while matches and thus testing.
the bugs were found right after 2.1 came out, because then people started to play.....
during the beta testing we didn't get it.
so...we take no blame, we keep telling you to beta test if you want a good version.
and if you have nothing to say but "just fix it"......then fuck off....totally pointless
"We take no blame"... you're a rotten project manager, don't you know the basics of a beta-testing environment? You test it on your own (aka a QA) and iron out problems testing random aspects of the game, for a game like this it should take at least a week... then you send it out to a Pilot process which was the beta testing we had here... after that most of the major bugs should be taken care of... only very rare minute bugs would arise during production... I should know I'm head of project QA and troubleshooting at my company... take some responsibility!

the last beta was out for a day and you moan about people not testing? lol
QA testing is not the same as "Questions and Answers"... QA in this case is "Quality Analysis"... but basically it's where you internally test what you produce possibly bringing in one or two trusted outside people. Call it alpha testing maybe. This is always a good step to take.

The volley bugs were already in the previous beta, so there were about 4 days of testing.
And as I said, the bugs were found within 1 day by many people after the final was released. If these people would do the same with betas what they do with finals, we'd have a lot better Deathball Versions

Try releasing them so that they span a weekend so some people that are busy during the first part of the week with things like a JOB and a FAMILY actually have a chance to download the beta and play it. Also any project manager knows that u carefully select a 3-10% population to beta test. You don't just put a download out there and say have at it. Also every project manager knows that 4 days of beta is not sufficient for a final release. Needs more structure me thinks.
davidm, I didn't even know about the beta before I saw the real thing was released. It obviously wasn't out long enough. and you really need to work on making trying out betas easier than it currently is. I have done it before but when you release a bunch of different changes plus me wanting to play non beta it gets old to fool with installing and reinstallling. if you made some system to fix that I think you would get a lot more feed back.
