get a DB IP address, open UT2004.exe and type open <ip> in console
also, i believe db shows up as a mod in the server browser, you can do it that way too
Any possibility a protocol like deathball:// (I still don't know if it works or not I was gonna suggest it but then DB_Pickup started using it, but I don't think it works ) can be bound to DB? So that you can enter it in your browser and go to the server in question.
To be honest, I ran deathball thru UT2K4 for like the first three weeks I played it. It worked online, too. This was before there were the custom models, though, but it still worked. And so did the botmatches. Then one day I went into "community", saw deathball there, and clicked activate... and that was the last time running thru UT2K4...
