Ok I changed my mind,:rolleyes: , some off these ideas do seem very fun especially the recording a match. It could be made like the ones in Warcraft I would hope, b/c that replay system was SWEET even though the game was (to me) very repetitive. [obviously the files would be a lot bigger, but hey that's why I bought a 250gb hard drive isn't it??]
I don't wanna read through all this, could someone tell me if the replay vote spam will be removed? Or if replay will be skipped with a simple majority vote, rather than 100%?
PS: Good job on defensive deflections in 2.0 beta. 500% better than 1.9b.

- try 'demorec match.dem', unfortunately UT does not support FF, REW, pause etc. afaik (UT2k4?)
- Try sending the .dem file in %utrootfolder%/system/

Hmm sounds interesting about the demo commands there, but something built in would be a lot more user friendly. User friendly is always a good thing.

i would like to see every defender get the abilty to duel jump like the goal keeper but in the box only.. Think about it.. in a game if the attacker get the ball into the box the defense will use extra energy to get the attacker.. + It would give a bigger advantage to the defense which is how it should be...
i agree. if the defense is doing good against another team. its the defences fault. to get a good shot off they'll need to get close and thats usually in the penalty zone. if they're passing through the pzone and getting a volley in. its still the d's fault and bad place ment. if d had dodge. i don't think anyone would score in a good matchup :O
For the freekick idea, I think on certain occassions a free kick should be given when the ball goes out of the field.
eg. When the goalie hits the ball out of the field. Or you could extend it further as to when any defender in the penalty box hits the ball out of the field.
