i got deathball at
http://www.modnmod.com/mods/Death_Ball/
and now when i start up 2k4 and try to run deathball i get

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)

same here man... its a level change error in my case, which most lickely the same error

Get it from the Beta Download page
http://www.deathball.net/beta.htm and install it over your V2.0 Full Beta
Remove Deathball.ini and DeathballUser.ini before playing the first time!
Do that, see if it helps. If not, blame DavidM
Usually errors come from the (paraphrasing Mr M) the pedantic way Epic use custom mods. (ie bad installation)

I have the same error posting in the subject "error when loading a map" if you have a solution please help us ... thanks

wtf, Dodgeball has that crash too :O
Has something todo with the weapon and clearing of cache (obj garbage) at map change...
