Well if you didn't get my sarcasm there then here goes:

NA servers are COMPLETELY dead. There hasn't been a pug in a week and a day. While some say it's a good thing that there aren't any pugs, but there are also pubs going on since there aren't any pugs. WRONG, there aren't any pubs either.

I don't mean to be negative I'm just showing the truth, that DB isn't going anywhere here in NA.

i would hypothesize we had a role to play in NA's db death.

it was agreed pugs were killing pubs.. therefore pugs were stopped.

pubs didnt get any better. clans scrimmed. the community crumbled.. except for the clans that scrimmed
(ufo is about 99% active and play almost daily) the rest of the players lost interest.

if we ever have a second chance at this.. we should remember pickup games are what keeps the community together. no pickups, no community.

Stop passwording pickup games. When new players come along and only see passworded games in progress, they have nothing to join in on.

playing scrims doesnt kill the game... not playing pickups kills the community.

(subtle difference)

as for putting passwords.. most of the above mentioned servers are private servers.. i think they would get penalized if they advertized teh pass or not had one.

advertizing the irc channel is DEFINITELY A _GREAT_ idea.

It was really annoying to try and have fun only to be constantly annoyed by people who "are just having fun" by constantly ripping on people or arguing.
