more pics!
definitely not finished work.. (sux to spend a lot of time if its not a good idea.. better to make quick drafts:)

something quick meant for concept only.. can be fine tuned.

the hex's on the bottom lit up:
health: green or red
pbox: blue, red, or gold (for keep)
ball possession: green(?) when in possession

the hex idea is good, but i dont like the look of these.

smaller, more integrated with the rest of the screen?
maybe a fade or something, or green (digital) lines

i like prii's latest hud design with the hex boxes.

the scanlines look good and the background colour changes work well.

but i think the actual grey border needs work...maybe thinner and imho the boxes could be made smaller since i like things minimal.

I guess if the hud is scalable via the menu, then size isn't a big deal though.

I assume the current DB 2.0 beta HUD will be kept as well? I quite like it.

so in theory, could we request additional hud boxes such as current award standings, which we can choose to add from the hud menu if we want?

Hmm..multiple HUDs are good.

A minimalistic HUD for pro's (or just people like me who aren't much good but have been playing DB for long enough to know what's happening anyway)

And a newbie HUD \o/ with all the icons, big red cross with health, lots of unnecessary sexy things ;p
Just something that is big, doesn't need the player to look around, and is extremely self-explanatory.
Maybe even go so far as to make a HUD with tooltips? ^^; (for the single player tutorial..aww you knoow! the one TV has been planning since..since, since :D)
