Noob players! \o/

alot of new players have been playing recently in the US. mostly on the BuD and Twigster Server. so if we can please get a little tolleration for the standard new player habbits and try and teach them a bit that'd be great.

I'm rather excited to see some new people to play against and with.

keep in mind when bitching (explaining) things that not all users have mouse2 for alt fire

... like me... i use it to jump! holy shit! so tell em alternative fire will pass!

and for god sakes if its a VO game, tell them to pass instead of self volly

lets mold a cooler nicer deathball community

Altho I must agree I mostly tell people to use right click, in fear of them not understanding "Alt fire".

I've seen an increasing amount of new people (n00bs) on euro servers too, and in fact, I'm teaching one to play db now $\o/$

Since you all know I have no life anyway [/sarcasm], I frequently tell n00bs to contact me and offer my help as a teacherish thingy.

i agree, i HATE when people say that "Right click to pass!"

so i act like a smartass and say "right click makes me jump though....it wont pass"

I think the amount of n00bs that won't understand you when you say "Alt Fire" to explain this is WAY BIGGER than the amount of n00bs who use right click for something else than Alt Fire.

Furthermore, most players that use right click for something else, are pro players in some game or another, so they will either be experienced and smart enough to find everything out by themselves, or have read the manual, they won't need this kind of help

Playing with noobs is sometimes a very enjoyable game, and sometimes... it becomes hell... goto TV1 Where noobs meet server and u know what I mean

I don't have problem with those noobs, who don't know Boost, Banana, or things like that... I Hate noobs Who have NO idea what, and How to do... I explain thisone: I was playing on TV1 today... dunno what for a Noobish name the guy had... but... absolutely no passing at all... Scoring goals, on Open nets (2v2 Cube O_o) and instead of passing, he shot from half line to the goal that was defended by the keeper... And when I started the bitching (omg sry... i do that sometimes, but thistime I was extremely angry) And then I was called a noob, and an asshole... since I should be polite with noobs... of course the enemy said this with their 13 or 15 goal lead

(should have used teamsay tho' $\o/$ )

But when I meat a noob who can't boost... okay... I tell him to come up behind me, and push me or sth...

But when Ghey ego noobs come... then comes the bithcing 2

Anyways: it is nice from Messy to teach those noobs! U should make a Deathball Academy Called: Messys Noob Academy $\o/$ And in the end it could be a clan or sth... just like back in those days when we had the Academy dream....

Yeh well ignorant ego n00bs suck.
It also sucks when they can't speak english O_o
I can try explaining it in german a bit, but that's about as far as it goes :s

When they don't listen to me if I want to help them ("please pass, use right click"..and that 20 times) I stop helping them.
When they flame me, I own them, leave the game, or ignore them, knowing that they will never get respect or have a future in DB anyway.

I've taught the basics to some overseas n00bs whenever they have come onto our Aussie server. It's quite a gratifying experience when they say how much the appreciate the help.

I teach about 3-10 noobs every night in TV1. I;ve been recruiting noobs because we need more players in the league and as long as they are nice i see no reason why we can't take a shot a 3rd league.
