Open up UT2003.INI in the UT2003 system folder, find the line LocalMap=NvidiaLogo.ut2 and change to LocalMap=Entry.ut2 Now when the game loads you will get a black screen with the title music playing instead of the logo. Just press Esc and click Forfeit and your at the main menu. Will that do it for...

It's not always easy getting together enough people to test your map everytime you update or change something, so decent bots would make bringing a map almost up to relea...

Map runs much better now and still looks leet :D Good! :D Yes I did use Ued and I know about it's limitations regarding the creation of static meshes, hence the reason why they are made the way they are. One for the glass, one for the frame around the glass, one for the two bridging sections and on...

I'll change the colour of the frames to a darker 'brass' effect tomorrow. http://maps.4cows.net/4cows/deathba...

The glasses have turned DB-JE-TheBook into a real FPS killer. Even on my Radeon 9700 it killed my performance to almost unacceptable levels whenever I looked at them. It's worse than DB-november. How do you think lower spec users are gonna be able to play this level? I even minimised detail to see ...

Have updated it http://maps.4cows.net/4cows/deathballmaps/mapdetails.php?id=33 Screenshots haven't been updated though... :o On a side note: After noticing that no one had yet used the voting system at Deathball Maps, I gave it straight 8's, but after voting it said straight 4's and two people had v...

Convert all your custom textures to DXT. Right click on the texture and click convert and pick one. DXT5 is generally smaller (I think). Redo your skybox. This is the main cause of slowdown. The main box is non-solid (Shows green in editor). Never a good idea! Use the standard cut-out tool (Shows ye...
