Global Gathering 2006

Global Gathering 2006 looks incredible. Apparently there were 60,000 last year.

(Am going with some doctor friends - oh so handy for those prescription drugs ;) )

a decent idea for large maps as Sixty says. Not much point in smaller, faster ones. Its seems like a variation of a ice hockey rule - not that i play ice hockey. One possible flaw in the plan..... say there are 2 blue players in the red zone. a blue player from the blue zone passes to one of the two ...

Bad luck England, they came close but the pressure got to them. Was shocked to see Gerrard bottle his penalty. If he had held his nerve, i think we'd be through. Gerrard for Captain next time. Beckham dropped and Lennon should be permanently flying down the right flank. Am not going to have a go at ...

Argentinian players really play for each other, lovely teamwork and deadly finishing.

If they carry on like that, theres no stopping them.

Best team of the tournament so far?

I'm sure most teams would rather face Brazil than the Argentines

i left my laptop on the bed after playing and the duvet probably blocked the vent.

next day i found some of the keys had warped on that side.

not a big deal, will probably get it fixed once i bother making backups....

He may be ugly and stupid but he does score. What puzzles me is before the tournament started, he was described as 'something different' or 'plan B' or 'another option' ie something defenders won't be used to. But playing him in every game is surely providing future opponents more than enough ...

Is it a coincidence that it was the Liverpool players that managed to snatch victory from almost certain embarassment? Okay, okay, the rest of the team helped too :D I'm hoping Sven experiments a little with Sweden. I want to see Lennon and Rooney start. Owen alongside Rooney, with Walcott coming on ...

What you say is true, but I think home advantage may take them far.

I can understand why the German press is playing mind games with the English squad too. I think they know we are more than capable of humiliating them - maybe hoping to provoke a red card for Becks?

http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/4617/desktoplarge2hq.png my first desktop setup after a few days on my new laptop (pictured). Simple and luna esque but dark. Suits the laptop to a T! First of all whats up peeps! Secondly, Germany is looking a pretty hot team as are a handleful of other countries, but my god Spain is England's biggest threat atm (imho) and possibly the best team I've seen play this tournament so far. Many teams showed spells of fluidity, imagination and flair but ...
