edit: keepers have more skill than normal db players any way tbh (yes, im on about you, you [...] sweepers) =( We've kept on trying to test this... "thing" back in the Antipodes, and so far only the top keeper in our league seems to have any chance at 1v1s. I accept that 1v1s are hard, th...

Change can be scary for some. :) This is restating precisely what DavidM said, albeit in a somewhat terser form. Scroll up, and read all those pesky words I wrote. Note how they apply to your comment as well? I have nothing against the change in general, but there are some serious balance concerns ...

uh imag please stop that. i'll update the beta over and over and yours will be out of date well cirian, all say that at first. but when all who understood how to play now can't complain anymore, and i'll give you all 2 weeks to get used to it :> really useless to listen to this sort of feedback atm...

Too all complainers. Deflect will be toned down a bit, but its good that you can basically block all when you stand in front of someone. He just needs more room to pass now! This is also helping the defense a lot, otherwise you could just use the new super shot to score score score. Also boosting w...

One thing, Australia has 4 DB servers - OzForces and three GameArena ones.

Also, you can set voteable DB up easily with the inbuilt mapvoting system.

Well, Ozforces now mentions DBC in the MOTD, but we've got the 20th of June shown in it (for obvious reasons).

Well, as Panda probably knows, the Australian newbie event has moved to the 20th of June, but people are always welcome to join Ozforces - the ping will make it "exciting", at the very least.

The Australian DB server (provided by OzForces) should be available (as ever) for people. I'll try to get some people staffing it during the day. Homer has already talked to you about this, I believe. IP: 203.17.15.214:7700 The server is public, and will remain so during the event. It's currently on...

I want them back. It's fine to want a "unique" visual style for DB, but I don't wish it forced upon me.

If people wish to play as a bald fruitcake or Gorge The Midget, you should let them.

Just to add to this discussion: THIS IS NOT THE AUSTRALIAN PLAYER BLACKSTAR Blackstar is a member of my clan, and as such, I am here, telling you people to not harass him, as he is not the person responsible. He's already been messaged by several people on MSN one of whom *looks at Mongeh* told him ...

Oh I agree with you completely, but you are naive if you think people like Xelent and Surge are going to do anything but act all melodramatic. Don't let that put you off though!

Surge stop being foolish; Bodom may have an aire of naivety, but at least he's well intentioned. If you people stopped waxing lyrical about how Deathball is going to die because David M doesn't hold your hand the whole damn time, and tried to bring in new players, you'd do much better, and would be ...

Firstly, no, don't get rid of shake, it's your fault if you can't dodge attacks. Seriously, if you are playing in a game where shake is a score or not-score scenario, then you've missed the whole "strategy" part of the game -- I can't imagine this happening unless it's a 1 on 1 or you're b...

Just two demos and some mp3 commentary -- more effort to play but it's much more compact.
