Or you could have predefined 'characters' For example, look at Gorge! There's no way he can run as fast as someone like Rrrrrremus! Gorge is a fatty! A FATTY! So you could give him a slightly bigger catch radius or something (he's bigger) but uhh.. he moves slightly slower. BAM! That'd work, right ...
