I've just set up googleads on http://www.igrill.co.uk, and so far, getting about 15% CTR. I've earned a whole $1.29 so far :p But that's only after one day.

I've been experimenting with dual-portrait oriented screens.
Seems to work very well for reading/writing research papers, and I can treat them as one uber-large screen, rather than one extremely-wide one.
It's like having a 25" screen resolution = 1536*1024
